Oooooohhh! This looks like too much fun! Especially so since I’m such an adroit liar. Looks like WordPress will just let anyone remake your page whenever. Surely not. Anyway, go to the Country Store, “2 miles down and a century ago” or something better worded than that, you’ll see somewhere if you’re on the right road (In Mtn. View, there are few choices of wrong road, anyway). Our Shameless P.R. Department down here at Mountaintop Flatlanders wishes to add that Arkansas Balladeer Will Taylor will perform on the big stage at the Ozark Folk Center the evenings of June 12 and 26, and out on the grounds the afternoons of June 11 and 26.
Meantime, go by the store and check it out.

Hello! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I
could find a captcha plugin for my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having problems finding one?
Thanks a lot!

Hi, I purchased ($40) a hand carved duck made of cedar when I stopped by on Thursday 5/4/2014. I forgot to get the artist information. Could you provide me with the name of the artist and possibly a link to more examples of their work.

Thanks,

Mike

Love the store. I love the boiled peanuts also. Everytime I head up to Mt. View or Calico Rock for trout fishing, I always stop at Yalls store. Love the Oldtime feel of it. I recommend anyone that goes through Yalls area, stop off at Mellons Country store.

We are thinking about bringing a group of senior adults up for the week of Sept. 22 – 26. I would like to know when/what time the shows are, and if you give discounts for senior adults/groups.

Thank you,
Gayla

We visited Melon’s Country Store on the 4th of July and what a visit we had! We have always loved this place and visit every time we are in the area. The hospitality we were shown went above and beyond . The show was FANTASTIC too!!!!! We look forward to going back for our anniversary in the fall!!!! If you have never been there, you don’t know what you’re missing!
Thanks again for making our stay such an enjoyable one.
